Report on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances Session: 128 INFORMATION FROM SOURCE Date: 06-Jun-2022 According to the source: Ms. Hye-Shin Paek (혜신 백), born on 1 February 1995 in Kangwon Province (DPRK) was allegedly abducted by agents of the DPRK in March 2007 in her residence in Minpo-dong 2-ban, Sinuiju City, North Pyongan Province. It is reported that State authorities confiscated Ms. Paek's residence and transferred her to a remote location within the DPRK, along with another family member, without adequate shelter or access to food, in retaliation for her family relationship with a DPRK defector. At the time of the present communication, the fate and whereabouts of Ms. Ms. Hye-Shin Paek remain unknown. 8
